In Denmark, I worked for Trap, a single source publisher, working on a cultural encyclopaedia of Denmark. With a first edition of one volume in 1858, the fifth edition published in 1953 spread over 21 volumes, and included Greenland and the Faeroes. After a little bit more than 50 years without any new edition, Trap Danmark challenged itself to update the work, nowadays mainly used by professionals and genealogists. I worked with them, trying to go digital. I lead the conceptualisation of a smartphone application, to test potential content. Then I helped the digitalisation of the 5th edition, focusing on the geolocation of the articles.
I described the platform on my blog, and further on including Greenland and Faeroes.
